There’s been some recent shake up in the big three console sales – the PS3 recently has taken a surge in sales, most likely due to the price drop to $299 and the introduction of the new Slim model. In September the PS3 outsold both the Wii and the XBox360 for the first time. XBox360 sales dropped to third place behind the Wii. Seems like the tables have turned.
Meanwhile Nintendo’s president has been talking about the Wii’s slump in sales, and the difficulty of keeping a constant flow of high demand games. There may be some enhancements coming to the Wii platform maybe sooner than expected, to keep gamer’s interest in the now sagging Wii.
