Adobe employees to get Android phones, and Flash coming to Android soon

In the wake of Apple slamming Adobe for their sub-standard products (Flash) and Jobs stating that there won’t be any Flash support for the iPhone (and presumably the iPad), Adobe will be launching Flash for Android at the upcoming Google I/O conference. To rub salt into Jobs wounds, Adobe will also be gearing up it’s employees with free Android based phones. It’s not clear exactly which employees will be getting shiny new non-Apple phone that runs Flash, but presumably those who will be able to help with the dog-fooding to make sure Flash on Android is ready to go before it’s rolled out to the masses.

PS3 to lose Linux support on April 1st? Or is it?

Maybe this is an early April Fools, or maybe it isn’t. The pre-Slim PS3s have the ability to partition their harddrive and install Linux and dual boot. Apparently this feature may be going away in the next firmware upgrade. It’s a shame if it is, but since the date quoted is April 1st, maybe we’d better see if this comes to fruition or not.

I uninstalled my Yellow Dog install a while back to free up some disk space, but it will be sad if this option goes away.
