Amazon UK had a glitch with their pricing system this morning, resulting in Compaq iPaqs being listed for between 7 and 23 pounds.
In this article on theregister.co.uk, apparently they won’t be honoring the orders placed as there is a legal statement in their terms and conditions that states a contract is not in place between themselves and the buyer until Amazon sends out a confirmation email stating the product has shipped. This has happened a number of times before – a couple of months ago Dell made a similar mistake, but apparently they did honor the price mistake and shipped out goods to anyone who made an order during the time period before they corrected the price mistake.
