I have wondered this for a while, but this blog entry points out the relationship between the Glassfish releases and the Sun packaged releases (Sun Java Application Server). Apparently there is no difference in the code base, just in the Sun branded packaging.

I’ve been blogging on this site now since January 2003 and have just recently passed 1000 entries! This started as a personal site to collect together links to news items and things that interested me personally, but as it turned out I also get quite a lot of traffic from blog aggregators, so I guess someone reads this other than me!
