Palm, Microsoft and Verizon are expected to make an annoucement today that they will be releasing a Windows Mobile Edition 5 based Treo, expected to be called the Treo 700w.
Whether or not this signals a move away from Palm OS as their preferred OS is anyone’s guess at this point, but the move does open up additional sales opportunities for people who were nsure about buying a Palm OS based device.
